We celebrate this time of the year because Jesus came to show us His love. When we shared our jelly beans, we were showing love to others in our group. When we show love, we’re being like Jesus! We celebrate Easter because Jesus came to show His love, and that’s what we need to know today. Let’s say this together: Jesus Came to Show His Love
Why did God send Jesus to Earth? To show us how to live and love others, to take the punishment for all the wrong things we do, and to give us life that would never end
How did we see Jesus showing love in the story we read today? He died on the cross to take our punishment, served the disciples, gave them food, washed their feet
How does it make you feel to know that Jesus did these things to show you that He loves you? Jesus came to Earth and died on the cross because He loves you so much and He wanted you to be forgiven. Let’s say what we need to know today together again:Jesus Came to Show His Love
