When we celebrate Easter, we get to have fun finding eggs and eating sweet treats! We can celebrate because Jesus is alive! Let’s say that together: Jesus Is Alive
Why did Jesus die on the cross? Because He wanted to take the punishment for all the wrong things we do so that we can be forgiven
How do we know that Jesus really came back to life? The angel said so, a lot of people saw Him
What did the two men on the road to Emmaus believe after they saw Jesus’ hands? That Jesus was really alive

- What did Jesus do for you and me?
- How does knowing that Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment for the wrong things that you do change the way you live every day?
- When you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, what happens for you and to you? You’re forgiven forever, your friendship with God is fixed, God promises you will live in Heaven and never die.
Memorize it: There’s a simple verse in the Bible that we can memorize to help us remember the amazing thing God did when He brought Jesus back to life. These are the words the angel said to Jesus’ friends when they went to where he was buried:
“He is not here! He has risen, Just as He said He would!” Matthew 28:6
